Diocesan Link MARCH 2026 Newsletter from Arundel & Brighton
The strength to persevere, the courage to speak out, the
faith to believe.' Sr Joan Chittister OSB
Welcome to this edition of my web newsletter March 2026
Lent has begun. I have included some prayer resources and
finish off with a catholic podcast.
There are lots of activities and initiatives to get
involved with this month. If you see something that grabs your interest, do
share it.
So much is online now, it would be easy to sit in your room
and watch it on your tablet/pc. But much nicer to invite someone to come and
view it with you, then you have human interaction and the chance to discuss
what you have seen and heard. You can extend it to a simple meal (well, it is
Lent). Make an event out of discovering more about our faith.
Enjoy
Sue

LCSB
Lenten talks: Growing closer to Christ through a rule of life- hosted by the Lay Community of St
Benedict.
As Lent approaches, we invite you to join us for a series of five Lenten talks
rooted in lived experience. Each session will be introduced by young adults
from our Community, followed by a speaker reflecting on their personal Rule of
Life and how it has impacted their personal journeys as well as the life of the
communities they belong to.
The speakers
come from a range of Christian traditions and communities including the
Dominicans, Taizé, the Northumbria Community, the World Community for Christian
Meditation (WCCM), and Worth Abbey, each offering their own distinct
perspective.
Each talk takes place at 8pm on Wednesdays in Lent, starting on
Wednesday 25 February, and will include time for questions and shared
discussion. These evenings are offered as a reflective and hope-filled
companion for our Lenten journeys.
Please visit our website to find out more and to sign up for all or any of the
talks:
